Output is increasing at several UK plants, boosting work for the car transporters handling their deliveries...
• Peugeot's Coventry plant— increasing production from 200,000 units to 230,000 over the next year.
Main contractor: Gefco, the in-house delivery arm of PSA Peugeot Citroen.
• Nissan's Tyne & Wear plant—increasing production from 300,000 units to 500,000 over the next few years.
Main contractors: Axial and Richard Lawson.
• Honda's Swindon plant— increased production from 150,000 units to 250,000. Main contractors: Sheer Trucks, Richard Lawson, ST VA and ECM.
• Toyota' Derbyshire plant— increasing production by 50,000 units this year. Main contractors: CTP, Waion and Richard Lawson.
