SAF trailer axles and air suspensions have been specified by Weightmaster Trailers of Scunthorpe for a new extendable heavy haulage stepframe trailer. The running gear—modular U-series air suspensions and lowmaintenance EuroAxles—will be supplied by sole UK importer IMS of Loughborough. Each of the four axles is plated at 15,000kg and the two rear axles are self-steering.
