• Red Star has submitted a report to the Director of Public Prosecutions following an internal audit ordered by managing director Ivan Couclunan.
"The investigation was being conducted as part of an ongoing programme," says Red Star.
The BR subsidiary refused to comment on a national newspaper report which said that "police have uncovered a massive fraud inside Red Star".
