Chunnel departures
▪ British Rail has released its first draft timetable for intermodal freight services through the Channel Tunnel.
It includes: London to Paris services at 19:00hrs and 22:00hrs; London to Frankfurt, leaving 01:00hrs and arriving at 14:00hrs: and departures to Paris from the North-East and Strathclyde at 16:00hrs and 23:00hrs respectively.
Railfreight, BR's freight arm, says the timetable is provisional and that it is continuing talks with customers which may result in schedules being "fine-tuned".
