Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Zanussi has taken delivery of three specially built Peugeot Talbot Express Luton vans with a novel sleeper pod over the cab. Scotts of Coventry built the bodies on a chassis-cab conver ted by Al-Ko, which cut off the standard Express chassis behind the cab and grafted on its own low-height chassis. Al-Ko claims a loading height of just 530mm.

The Scott body has a load

volume of 20m3 withoutthe sleeper pod. Access to the pod is gained through the cab roof.

The pod is fully trimmed and lined and measures 2,025x1060x915mrn. Equipment includes a fire extinguisher, lighting and an electrical socket.

The vans will be based at Zanussi's Midlands distribution centre at Redditch. They will operate on direct home delivery work from Derbyshire to Lands End. Zanussi distribution manager Jim Thomas says that the requirements were for a highcube van without a tachograph, to take maximum advantage of drivers hours. The 3.4-tonne GVW vehicles have apparently met with favourable driver response and Zanussi has ordered three more.
