The company, based in Market Deeping, Lines, was part of the former tipper specialist Wilcox-Seadyke, rescued from receivership by Crane Frueheuf parent SESR. It has the rights to all the Wilcox tipper designs, EM Wilcox managing director Colin Jones says that although an independent survey has shown that only a third of tipper hauliers plan to buy new vehicles in 1991, orders from abroad are increasing. Jones is confident that buyers will opt for Wilcox once the industry improves.

0 Wisbech Bulk Systems, which was formed by three former Wilcox-Seadyke bosses, has begun to sell a new range of tippers, blower bodies and trailers. It is also working on prototypes for dry powder tankers and containers, but is not allowed to use Wilcox designs.
