liST YEAR spending on trunk ads plummeted to a 15-year w, according to a British Road ;deration report, Britain's ad Progress.
BRF says that more than 1,500 iles of trunk roads still needed be built or improved and estiates that as much as £13bn is :eded to cope with road imovement — more than £5bn the trunk programme and bn plus for county and regla d roads.
