TNT, the A$8 m (E6 .9 6m turnover Australian transport gi ant, is poised to repeat its sue cess on the British market in Ire land. A new company, TNT irisl Overnite, will offer a nationwidi door-to-door guaranteed nex day delivery service betweel the Republic, Northern Irelam and the United Kingdom.
The Irish Republic/UK servici will be operating from a Dublir terminal to the company's Car lisle, Ramsbottom, Cannock Milton and Luton terminals witt a two-day service to the rest o the Republic and theUK Ramsbottom and Carlisle trunk: will cross on the Dun Laoghain ferry, while trunks for other ter minals will cross via Rosslare.
Traffic from the Republic tc Northern Ireland will be taken t< Cork and Dublin, and trunkei overnight to Belfast for next cla, delivery. This will give a next day service from the Dublin are and two-day service for the res of the country. Next day service: will also be available within thi Republic and Northern Ireland.
