A2: There are numerous roadworks between Bexleyheath an Dover. Operators should allow an extra hour for journeys to th Channel ports, as long queues build up frequently around Canter bury.
A3: There are extensive road improvement works south of Guild ford between the Wooden Bridge and The Cathedral turn-off unt mid-August. Delays and serious congestion are expected. A406: Resurfacing work has reduced the width of the North Circu lar Road at New Southgate (Bowes Road and Telford Road) in Nort London.
M2: The coastbound carriageway is closed between junctions (A2) and 3 (Maidstone/Chatham), and junction 2 is also closed. Ther also are consequential delays in the Medway towns, due to diverte traffic, and operators are advised to avoid the area altogether an use the M25, M20, and A249.
M3: The coastbound carriageway is closed between junction (Guildford) and 4 (Camberley) until November 23.
M4: The following sections will be closed from 9pm to 6am each week on Mondays to Fridays. Between junctions 1 (Chiswick roun iabout) and 3 (Parkway), and the westand eastbound slip road: between the A4 and Chiswick roundabout.
M25: The new section between A111 to the A10 does not havi motorway status yet, and drivers of vehicles over 1.5 tons unlader should not exceed 40mph. This section, and the A111 to Soutt Mimms section, should have motorway status by September.
