EXTENDIBLE low-bid semiiler has been manufactured r Dowsett Engineering Conruction Ltd, Bilton Hall, Narrate, to transport heavy earthoving machinery and nstruction equipment.
The Plantmaster trailer pplied by Nooteboom (UK d, Barking, is of the two-axle pe, but is provided with a modar third axle which can be ted in less than ten minutes.
All three axles have hydroeumatic suspensions, claimed give complete load equalisen in both the two-axle and ree-axle modes to reduce road amage, while providing a ailer length to suit the load diensions.
Both self-tracking and powereered axles are available.
The length of the Dowsett lantmaster is 11,340mm (37ft .5in) closed and 13,840mm 15ft 5in) extended; the normal iidth is 2,490mm (8ft 2irt) but, iith outriggers extended, is ,350mm (lift). The gross trailer /eight is 57 tonne.
