I The Scottish Co-operative Wholesale lociety Ltd., of Glasgow, was granted an ;nopposed application for a B-licence, with very restricted normal user, for 20 vehicles ■ rigi nally operated on C -licence, by Mr. A. B. lirnie, the Scottish LA, last week. The pplication was due to be heard at a public lquiry last Monday but was disposed of artier in Chambers. The application was to cover internal changes in the SCWS. Flour milling, which was originally carried on at Leith, has been transferred to new premises in Edinburgh.
After construction of the new mill had begun an agreement was reached with another miller whereby it became a shared operation. As such, its output could not be maintained on the former basis.
