Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DESPITE opposition by the LincolnL./shire Road Car Co., Mr. F. G. Wright, of Louth, was given permission by the East Midland Traffic Commissioners, at Lincoln, on March 24, to commence his summer time-table on the Louth-Mablethorpe service on June 18 instead of June 27, as in the past.

Captain R. H. Helmer, for Mr. Wright, said it n-as a fact that more and more people were taking their holidays on the Lincolnshire coast earlier, and many were staying in the villages a few miles inland. This created an increased demand on the stage carriage Services which covered the small villages between Louth aud Mablethorpe. as distinct from the existing demand between the two terminal points.

Mr. G. Richards, for the Lincolnshire Road Car Co., pointed out that since filing their objection, the company had taken over the servites of Messrs. Lowis and Cheffings, who ran services between Grimsby and Mablethorpe, covering the intermediate villages which Wright served.

Granting the application, Mr. J. H. Stirk, chairman of the Commissioners, said Mr. Wright was a regular operator on the route, and was asking for only. nine extra days to be included in the summer services. In the circumstances, he-was going to give it to him this year, but he would want to know the number of passengers carried and the revenue earned before he renewed permission next year.
