m Police are seeking witnesses to an accident in North Yorkshire last Friday when a black and white artic overtook a Ilne of traffic and almost collided with a silver Nissan Micra and a red Ford Escort. The artic was travelling on the A168 towards Thirsk, near Thornton-Le-Beans at around 14:50hrs.

In avoiding the artic the two cars collided. No-one was injured but the truck, which may have had orange stars along Its side, did not stop and continued in the direction of Thirsk.
