• The National Owner Drivers' Association's fight to stop construction firms cutting their owner-drivers' rates are set to be tested in court (CM 22-28 Aug).
NODA chief Mick Binns says that a barrister is considering if construction firms can legally reduce rates which have already been agreed in writing.
One construction company, Pioneer, is proposing rate cuts which could reduce a driver's earnings by several thousand pounds a year, according to Binns.
