vv hitbread Beer has promoted Terry Murphy to depot manager at Tiverton, responsible for the Devon distribution operation. He was previously involved in management planning at the company's Luton headquarters.
Murphy succeeds Jim Kerr who has moved to Whitbread's Castle Eden Brewery in Cleveland; now he will oversee warehousing and transport arrangements at the company's Truro and Plymouth depots with responsibility for 70 staff and the delivery of 300,000 barrels of beer a year.
