he recent turmoil in Moscow, when
thousands took to the streets to protest against the hardliners intended coup, failed to interrupt delivery of Newcastle Brown Ale to thirsty Muscovites.
A Scottish & Newcastle truck carrying 10,000 pints of the famous brew and 13,000 pints of Tartan Bitter unloaded safely at The Brown Bear and The Galaxy, S&N's two pubs near the Parliament Building.
According to S&N the beer will provide suitable refreshment to celebrate the return of democracy.
