ost cats are content to sit by the fireside and leave long car journeys to their foolish owners — not so Midlands tabby Gateaux.
To this adventurous moggy it was a piece of cake to stowaway on his minders' roof rack from Birmingham to Southampton. He even slept through a 30-minute stop at a motorway services.
Finally woken by sea air and the smell of fish, the plucky puss had a purrfect journey.
