Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• As predicted by Commercial Motor, ERF is now offering air suspension as an option on its 6x2 tractor. It adds £2,500 to the cost of the steel-sprung chassis.

The air-sprung twin-steer has a two-bag system on the second axle and a four-bag layout on the drive axle. The system includes electronically controlled ride height adjustment and adds some 110kg to the 6x2's kerbweight.

ERF is also fitting an air dryer as standard on all ES6 and E6 rigids, and has increased the plated weights of its 3.2m wheelbase tractors with a 6.7tonne capacity front axle.
