AMERICAN truck builder Mack has awarded a contract for the supply of disc brake pads to Mintex Ltd, of Cleckheaton, Yorkshire.

New Federal Government braking regulations in the USA have compelled manufacturers of heavy vehicles to consider alternative braking systems.
