VOLVO'S GERMAN truck dealer network and Nissan Germany have signed a distribution contract that will put Nissan light CVs into VolvoTruck dealerships throughout Germany. Three Nissan models will cover the market from 2.8 to 15 tonnes GVW: the Interstar (2.83.5 tonnes): Cabstar (3,5-4.5 tonnes): and Atleon (3.5-15
tonnes), The deal will include sales and aftersales activities.
Volvo plans to extend its link with Nissan to other European markets. Maria Vassiliadis from Volvo's German truck dealer network says: At this point we cannot say which markets exactly, though we will most probably start in the North European ones."
