Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MERCEDES-BENZ will introduce three new 13-tonne rigids and a 30-tonne eightwheeler chassis into the UK next month in time for the Scottish Show. The 13-tonne range consists of two 1314 models for haulage and tipper work and a 1317 haulage chassis.

Both 1314 models are powered by the 100kW (134hp) 0M366 naturally aspirated engine which develops a maximum torque of 402Nm (296 lbft). while the 1317 is fitted with the turbocharged version of the Same 5.9-litre engine — the 0M366A — currently used in the 16-ton Mercedes range (CM, April 27).

The 0M366A unit has a maximum power output of 125kW (170hp) and peak torque of 560N in (410 lbft). A five-speed gearbox is standard across the range.

All the new 13-tonners will have the latest LN2 cab, unlike the previous 1213 model which was fitted with the NG80 cab used on Mercedes' heavier vehicles. A choice of wheelbases similar to those al ready available on the 7.5 tonne LN2 range is expected to be offered.

The 8x4 3025K chassis takes Mercedes-Benz into the UK eight-wheeler market for the first time. It is powered by the same I84kW (247hp) naturally-aspirated 14.6-litre 0M442 vee-eight engine, already used in the 1625S tractive unit.

Although both ranges will he available from November I, Mercedes will only be showing the 3025K at the Scottish Exhibition Centre in three weeks' time.
