YORK TRUCK EQUIPMENT is now offering an all-makes trailer maintenance scheme called Transplan which is designed to reduce unscheduled maintenance costs.
Transplan consists of a series of service and maintenance options designed to provide a support package to all fleet operators regardless of size. trailer make, suspensioi; types, or bodywork configurations.
The scheme is believed to be the first trailer-manufacturer support contract Mainten ance scheme specifically tbr trailer operators and is intended to provide national cover comparable to similar schemes operated by chassis manufacturers.
As part of the package York can arrange Transplan coverage for operators as part of a finance deal to buyers of new vehicles. A fixed weekly rate covers both i trailer purchase and Transplan. 'Hie deal includes maintenance for all wearable parts including, tyres.
