SOME of Britain's best known operators of high specification coaches have established a commercially oriented Guild of British Coach Operators.

Fifteen founder-members include Swinards of Kent. Armchair of London, Yorks of Northampton, Grey Green and Flights of Birmingham.

The Guild, which is not intended as a rival for the Bus and Coach Council, intends to ensure that its members provide a high standard of coaches and service to customers.
