UNDER Statutory Instrument 1951. No. 1,800, dated October 4, another wartime emergency Order is removed from the Statute Book. This Order empowered the Minister of Labour and National Service to modify or suspend the operation of any of the provisions of the Road Haulage Wages Order, 1938, during the period of emergency. This came into effect on February 20, 1940, and is now withdrawn.
