The chief specialities of the Goodyear Tyro and Rubber Co., Ltd., 162, Shaftes. bury Avenue London, W.' consist of giant pneumatic tyres, the type to the development of which they have coettribated very large. They show a 36 in. by 6 in. tyre. fitted to a steal wheel, 38 in. by 7 in. as used on a Vulcan 30 cwt. chassis, a 40 in. •by. 8 kh. as used on a Daimler two toruie.r, 42 in_ by 9 in fitted to a steel wheel, and a 44 in. by 10 in. as used on the Halley special chassis. These tyres are all fitted to runs with a loose aide flange and locking ring, enabling them to be easily removed. It has also a detaehable and demoantable rim on a wood wheel, and a mechanical pump for the rapid inflation of giant tyres is shown.
