"Ferodo lined' is an expreSsion which is in common use in chassis specifications, and en that account the brake and clutch linings made by this company need no introduction. Ferodo fibre for cone clutches, Ferodo die-pressed bonded asbestos reinforced with brass wire is material which is available as segments ready bent to shape or in the form of shapes which can be cut up, heated and bent are on view. This latter material is produced by the company's patent method of die-pressing, by which each piece of material is enclosed in dies and subjected to a hydraulic pressure of 1,C00 tons.
