Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A Brief -Survey of the Exhibits Displayed on the Stands of the Leading Accessory and Component Manufacturers.

HOWEVER', mach interest is displayed in the huge collection of commercial and municipal vehicles at Olympia, not all of it should be concentrated on this portion of the Show alone, ar, to a great extent, the modern motor vehicle is built up from components produced by specialists in these particular branches of the trade. This applies particularly to such items as magnetos, ,carburetters, dynamos, power starters, ball and roller bearings, tytes, friction materials, phosphor bronzes, white metals, and to a lesser extent to units and parts such as engines, gearboxes, rear axles, gears, etc. The Showis not seen thoroughly unless the stands on which these items are exhibited are visited, and the visits should net be of a cursory nature, for on the quality of the accessories depends much of the success of a vehicle. Perhaps the most interesting accessories, and those which certainly appeal to visitors, are the huge pneumatic tyres for motor-coaches, buses, and even lorries. The adoption of these tyres is an innovation with which very few people are familiar, in spite of the fact that so many vehicles at the Show are so fitted ; no results of official tests have yet been published, even if they have been held, with the result that nearly everyone is waiting for the other man to try them out. The development, however, is not likely to be held back for want of courage to test. As regards magnetos, Britain has now taken the lead in this vitally important industry—for such it can now be called when the number of employees who owe their livelihood to this branch of the trade is considered—and many different makes and types of magnetos are to be seen.
