Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A £2,000 reward is on offer to anyone who can help recover two new trailers worth more than £100,000 which were stolen from the Newcastle-under-Lyme depot of Hartshorne Motor Group.

John Goode, manager of the Burton-based Volvo dealer group, says the white Gray and Adams refrigerated triaxle semi-trailers with black chassis were stolen at 03:30hrs on Wednesday 4 November. Both were fitted with Thermo King SMX 1 1 50 Max SR Refrigeration Units and Ross and Bonnyman tail-lifts.

Goode says the night foreman on the premises at the time confronted one of the thieves and was told the trailers were being collected for Hartshorne's Walsall depot. By the time the foreman had checked and been told the story was untrue, the trailers had gone. Chassis numbers of the trailers are 1144398 and 1144498 with bodies F10981137 and F10981138.

Anyone with information should contact Goode or marketing manager Alan Southall on 01782 568600, or write to Hartshorne (Potteries), Hammond Road, Parkhouse Industrial Estate, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire ST5 7RX.
