Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Illustrated on this page is one of the latest Vialit tar-spraying trailers as sold in this country by Fox, Stockell and Co., of 61, St. Mary Axe, London, E.(.3. This machine surfaces a road with a binding material as simply as a watercart sprays water. The diffuser is friction-driven from a road wheel of the trailer unit by sprocket and chain through the medium of the gearbox, and the surfacing compound is ejected under proper pressure in the form of a conical sheet. Thus the quantity of compound per sq. yd. of road surface varies with the speed ef traction; additionally, there is a control valve which regulates the flow of Vialit or other material which is being spread.

The company has made considerable progress with the machine and is prepared to sell the trailers outright to municipal authorities or to loan them to authorities which are using the company's Vialit road dressing. The trailers are being manufactured to the company's specification by, Carrimore Six Wheelers, Ltd., of lianchley, London, N.I2.
