Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Ken Rogers, who shared the vice-chairmanship of the RHA with Mr Silbermann, has also done yeoman service. He has Mr Silbermann's qualities of unflappability, courtesy and clear expression, but, above all, transparent sincerity. In effect he is now the senior vice-chairman and, other things being equal, he will take the chair in two year's time more popular or well deserved. He will certainly not be deterred by the project of becoming chairman in the sinister year 1984.

Mr Russett's work for the RHA in the Western Area, where he has just completed two years as chairman, and nationally, has been tireless. He just can't say no. Apart from that, he is a delightful companion and generous host, and is seldom without a smile. Like Mr Male he drives a Rolls-Royce to Mr Silbermann's Bentley. Nothing but the best is good enough for RHA leaders.
