• Mr Gordon Campbell, Secretary of State for Scotland, had decided that the boundaries of the interim Passenger Transport Authority for the Greater Glasgow area, announced last December, should not be changed. He has also decided that minor adjustments in membership of the PTA should be made to ensure greater community of interest among councils which have to make joint appointments.
