Spline screw sockets are now available from Sykes-Pickavant. In six sizes, 6, 8 and lOmm x 51mrn (0.24, 0.32, 0.39 x 2in) and 8, 10 and 12 x 140mm (0.32, 0.39 and 0.47 x 5.5in) they are designed for use on various spline-headed bolts. The complete set of sockets costs £15 plus VAT, but they can be bought separately.
