Hitchin' a ride

A WRECKER specified for fitting to Land-Rovers and similar-size trucks makes its debut on Monday at the Autoquip Exhibition in London.

The equipment, the Model 100 from Crane Fruehauf, can be fitted to the vehicle by the user. Its safe working load is 1.5 tonnes.

The Model 100 is specified with a power-operated winch operating through 180deg over the vehicle rear, and the winch is supplied with up to 22.9m (751t) of free run-out cable. A snatch block and nylon tow sling allowing the suspended towing of light vans is also included.

The Autoquip Exhibition is being held at the Cunard International Hotel, March 22-26.
