Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The Transport Association is a self-help (and self-selecting) group of approximately 60 regional road transport members which enjoy the benefits of joint procurement and mutual support. It does not actively seek a large membership, although anyone can apply to join the TA. If there is a member already in that area, then your application may not be successful.

Member companies, which together provide a nationwide network of around 4,000 vehicles and 150 sites, tend to be regionally based and therefore not in direct competition. Increasingly members are not just offering storage and distribution within the UK but within Europe as well. There is scope within the TA for load sharing, networking, parking, and help in case of breakdown. Contact: www.transportassociation.org or 01372 844482
