A NEW twin tilt cab Sisu desi was exhibited at the Kuljetus I hibition at Helsinki earlier tl month, reports BILL GODWIN.
Sisu, in common with Docll which fits them on its Dunstat line for the Finnish market, us Valmet Diesels in certain chi sis. But the state-owned cot pany — in which Scania has 15.8 per cent holding — has nc standardised on Cummins Ni Series power units for the nE SR range. The unusual design the twin tilt arrangement f bonnet and cab in this norncontrol chassis attracted consi erable attention.
Twenty-eight tonne gvw eigl wheelers are now coming in Finnish haulage operation which are benefiting from ti recent up-lift in permissib gross combination weights to tonnes, and 8x2 chassis of th type were shown by Mercede Benz, Scania, Volvo (convert( in Finland), and Sisu.
