THE directors of E. G. Brown and Co., Ltd., have been recommended by Chas. W. Rooke Lane and Co. not to accept an offer from Aurochs Investment Co., Ltd. The consultants expressed the opinion that an internal reconstruction of the company's finances, with a view to distribution to the stockholders of surplus assets, would
be of greater value. Steps on these lines are to be taken at once.
