Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

CLAIMS for higher pay for transport workers in the co-operative movement, in milk distribution and in various retail distributive trades have been initiated.

The National Wages Board of the Co-operative Union have been asked to grant an increase of 15s. per week in adult rates, with proportionate advances for juniors. The submission was considered at a meeting of the joint body and it is expected that the views of employers will be made known at a further meeting on June 25.

The workers' side of the Milk Distributive Wages Council are to submit an application for a substantial increase in the schedule of rates at a meeting on June 30.
