• A new service from Al International will be of help to trailer users and makers who want to ring only one number to find a spare.
Al says that its new Trailerpoint system holds parts for "all the major trailer component makers." It boasts a very comprehensive catalogue in which all parts have the original maker's numbering and also gives a useful cross reference list.
Urgent orders can be delivered in 24 hours, and there is full out-of-hours response. Non urgent orders will be delivered free in UK, but a service will also be available, at cost, for operators needing a part to be sent to other parts of Europe. Prices are said to be competitive, and orders can be placed by telephone, fax, computer link or letter.
There is also an over-thecounter service at Trailerpoint's HQ at Brierley Hill near Birmingham and at its branches at Ipswich, Runcorn and Purfleet. Full details from Al International on 0384 482000.
