• Prohibition notices and convictions for operating an unauthorised shuttle service, led to the appearance of a leading member of the Bus and Coach Council at a disciplinarY inquiry in Cardiff. Traffic Commissioner John Mervyn Pugh said he was bitterly disappointed to see David Morris, managing director of Morris Travel, of Pencoed, Mid Glamorgan, before him. The company had been given a licence in 1988 despite previous prohibition notices. The case was adjourned.
