• Thermo King has introduced a new system for reefer vehicles called Thermax which decreases the time needed for defrosting and produces more consistent heat when required. Improved efficiency is achieved by increasing the amount of refrigerant available for use when heating or defrosting — it even uses refrigerant which has been trapped in the condenser section.
