Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Deutz Motor is developing a range of liquid-cooled diesel engines for the 30-190kW (40255hp) power range which are set for launch in 1992.

The new design will be offered with either an integrated or an external cooling system. Deutz says it will offer all the advantages of air-cooled engines with the added bonus of quieter operation. The new engines should also be more compact. Deutz claims that the new designs already fulfill the most stringent anticipated emissions legislation using improved combustion systems, electronically controlled high-pressure fuel injection in each cylinder, a balanced crankshaft system and electronic engine management.

Production of the new engines will begin in 1993 in a specially built factory in Cologne-Porz which can produce 150,000 units a year.
