Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• In its first major move since being taken over by Bunzl, York Trailer has expanded its tipping business activities following its acquisition of the bodybuilder Neville Charrold from the Coate Group, in a package worth just under £2 million.

The deal, which also includes the purchase of the specialist bodybuilder Glover Webb, is a straight buy-out by Bunzl Transportation on behalf of York Trailer Holdings and, according to York Trailer managing director Jim Davies, the two companies will provide an extension to the group's activities. as well as complementing the rest of its structure.

Davies says that York has bought Neville Charrold to get into the rigid tipper bodybuild

ing business. Until now York has only offered a range of tipping semi-trailers. "We are concentrating a lot on tippers and Neville Charrold will complement that activity base and give us certain economies of scale in components," Davies said.

Mansfield-based Neville Charrold is the second-largest rigid tipper bodywork manufacturer in the UK and also produces its own range of tipping semi-trailers.

Glover Webb is based at Hamble in Hampshire and currently produces a wide range of municipal vehicle bodywork — which is another new field for York Trailer Holdings — as well as carrying out a number of specialist vehicle conversions.
