• The first enforcement weighbridge site for trucks in Lincolnshire is now open. The Holdingham site will be used regularly for checking vehicles using roads from the North West and the Midlands to the East coast ports.
The Department of Trans port's Traffic and Vehicle Examiners will use the site, together with the Lincolnshir, police and possibly trading standards officers.
A preliminary check, at Holdinghani, showed that 25 of the vehicles were overloaded.
