Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• To help reduce risk of theft from curtainsiders, Cover Protection of Liverpool has produced a remotelypowered electrical protection system which attaches to the insides of curtains and roof and sounds a siren if either are penetrated.

The system uses Armo ramp, a reinforced NC tape with insulated cores. This is either welded or bonded to the curtains and is connected to a control box and alarm siren.

There is also an optional radio-controlled attachment which can be linked to an alarm bleeper carried lw the driver. Providing the driver is within one mile of his parked trailer an intruder will not only set off the vehicle alarm but also the driver's.

The siren is set to deliver a minimum of 110dB(A) at a distance of 3 to 4 metres.

A method of triggering the alarm is also being developed should the parked vehicle be moved illegally.

Armoramp can be attached in zoned areas which allows a side or rear of the vehicle to be unloaded while the remainder is left alarmed.

Cover Protection expects to have a curtainsided vehicle equipped with its entire range of alarm systems available in prototype form for demonstration early in September.
