Communications costs are split into two basic tariffs: 'national', for vehicles operating inside Germany (the communications service is offered by T-Systems from Germany), and 'international', for vehicles elsewhere in Europe. They also vary depending on usage.
For maximum-frequency communications (reports every 15 minutes on trailer location and other performance data), the cost will be about €35 (£25) a month for each 'national' trailer and €60 (£40) a month for each 'international trailer. Minimum communications costs are likely to be around €20 (215) per month per trailer for 'national' fleets and €40 (£30) for 'international' fleets.
