Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MONEY continues to roll in for our Send a Spare Fund to buy parts for lorries helping in the Ethiopian famine relief effort. On Tuesday the total topped £13,000.

But not all offers have been of cash. A few readers have very kindly mentioned that they would be willing to give us vehicle components as well. We reiterate that the object of our appeal is to raise money so that it can be spent by the Save the Children Fund, which is working in famine stricken areas and is aware of the local transport situation, on the specific spares which are needed.

Among this week's contribu tors are:

J. W. Barrow Paul Bassow Jeremy Neave North West Truck Engineering Co PEI Communications Ratcliff Transport John and Gloria Rhodes J. R. Toole Transport John Weaver and Son Western Motor Works.

Total so far: £13,046.76
