Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

With reference to your annual historic vehicle road test in your Christmas issue, it might be of interest to other historic vehicle enthusiasts such as myself to know that although the commercial vehicle production of the Bean company was so small, at least three chassis turned up in psv guise in the early Thirties and actually ended up in the service of the LPTB.

These three vehicles were originally operated by the Royal Highlander Services in the Harrow area and when this company was swallowed up by London Transport, these buses were fleet numbered BN 1-3 and had the distinction of being the smallest vehicles operated by the board.

A photograph of BN-1 in its London Transport livery appears on page 73 of the Ian Allen publication, London Buses and Trams, by V. H. Darling. . S. J. COURT, Norwich.
