EEC update
EEC TRANSPORT commissioner in Brussels, Richard Burke, will open an Intern-. ational Cargo Handling Co ordination Association (ICHCA) conference in March, on "Crossing EEC frontiers — Smoothing the passage".
He will update delegates on what has been achieved towards harmonisation, improving goods transport within the EEC, and removing bottlenecks caused by paperwork.
Other speakers from industry will describe their own experiences within the Community and highlight problems that have not yet been resolved.
