Is there a suitable low-loading lorry on the market? This would speed the present arrangement. Three mowers are usually involved with a combined weight of about 10 cwt while three operators ride along with them.
The idea was suggested by the article (CM, October 7) dealing with purpose-built vehicles of this type for various electricity boards although this particular type of vehicle would seem too expensive for the class of work I have in mind.
