Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO recently introduced products from W. H. Brady Co. Ltd. are an embossing machine to print self-adhesive plastics labels and self-adhesive letters and numerals suitable for vehicle signwriting.

The Brady Quik-Label embossing machine operates by dialling one of the 45 fixed characters on the selector dial and touching a "print" bar. Embossing is accomplished and the tape advanced automatically. The machine is 4.75in. wide by 6.25in. deep by 4.5in. high and it weighs only 2.51b. Two models are made to accommodate either 0.5in. or 0.375in. tape which is Brady 0.5in. or 0.375in. tape which Brady supplies in 11 colours; the embossed letters are white.

A feature of the adhesive-character system—called the Quik-Align Sign System— is a special alignment method. Each letter or number is supplied on transparent backing paper with location points on it which simplify lining up the sign. It is claimed that a 10-letter sign can be made in about 60 seconds.

The letters are made of heavy-duty vinyl in white, yellow, red and black—in 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6th. sizes. Kits containing an assortment of 560 characters are offered and packs of 10 of the same letters or numbers are also available.

Made by: W. H. Brady Co. Ltd., Breakspear Road, Ruislip, Middx.

Prices: Quik-Align Sign System, kits from £16 to £49 according to size with refill packs from 8s. 11d. to 1 bs. (reductions for quantity); Quik-Label machine, £9 12s. bd.
